Essential Steps for a Flawless, Longevity-Focused Glow

Thank you so much for booking your spray tan appointment! I am so excited to help you achieve that perfect, sun-kissed glow. Your session will take approximately 30 minutes.

To ensure you get the absolute best results, please take a moment to read through these preparation steps. Remember: Your tan is only as good as your preparation!

Most importantly, it is time to look forward to your session with absolute excitement, because you are going to look absolutely stunning!

🛑 Important: The “Do Nots”

No Sunburns: Please do not get a sunburn before your session. If you currently have a tan or a sunburn, wait until it is fully healed before spray tanning, as peeling skin will cause the tan to look patchy.

Skip the Shower Right Before: Do not shower immediately before your appointment. Your skin acts like a sponge and holds onto moisture; showering several hours beforehand gives your skin time to “rest” and dry completely so it can soak up the DHA faster.

Razor Caution: If shaving before your appointment, do not use a razor with a moisturizing strip. These strips leave a residue that acts as a barrier to the tanning solution.

Waxing: Ensure all waxing is completed at least 48 hours prior to your session.

✨ How to Prepare for the Best Glow

Exfoliate: This is the most important step! Dry skin causes uneven fading. The best method is to use a sugar scrub 48 hours before your appointment. Please avoid using a harsh sugar scrub the day of your spray tan, as you want to give your skin time to heal so it is not overly sensitive during your session.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water and moisturize daily leading up to your appointment. Healthy, hydrated skin holds pigment much longer.

Clean Skin: Ensure your skin is completely dry and free of products at the time of your appointment. A “blank canvas” is always best for even absorption.

Product Safety & Ingredient Guidance: To safeguard your tan from premature fading or patchy wear, please carefully review your product labels. We advise strictly avoiding skincare items—including soaps, lotions, and body butters—that contain mineral oil, wax, urea, alcohol, petroleum, or sulfates, as these ingredients can degrade the tan or create an unfavorable barrier. ⏰ Scheduling & Arrival Window

As a luxury mobile service, punctuality is our highest priority, and we always strive to arrive precisely on time. However, as you know, traffic in the Hamptons can be quite unpredictable and challenging on certain days.

When we provide you with an arrival window, our team is always aiming to reach you at the very beginning of that timeframe. Due to local transit delays, our arrival may occasionally blend into the latter part of your scheduled window. We appreciate your gracious understanding should these external delays occur.

👗 What to Wear

During the Treatment: This is your appointment! You are welcome to wear whatever you are comfortable in (or nothing at all) to avoid tan lines.

After Completion: Since I am coming to you, the best thing to wear once the spray tan is completed is dark, loose-fitting clothing.

💎 Exclusive Add-Ons

Please note: I must know if you would like to add either of these services before I arrive at your location. These add-ons require specific preparation and equipment setup to ensure we keep your appointment timely.

New Contour Tan: Define and highlight your natural features for a sculpted look. This uses a special fine-tip contouring tool which is a separate piece of equipment (Available for an additional price).

Post-Tan Glaze: This incredible add-on locks in your look by setting the bronzer and reducing the risk of transfer or smudging. It reduces stickiness, adds deep hydration, and extends the life of your tan. It leaves your skin with an instant glow, a pearl-like finish, and a delicious watermelon scent (Available for an additional price).

How long your tan will last is depending upon how you take care of it. You will only get a few days out of it if you do not take care of it, but if you follow the aftercare directions, you should get 7 to 10 days. Please make sure to follow all directions provided during your session.

🐾 A Note for Pet Owners

Please make sure to put your pets away before I arrive. The equipment can be quite large and scary for them. Additionally, the fan and spray gun can be a little loud for their delicate ears, so they will be most comfortable in a separate room during the treatment.
